Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” is one of the most popular songs in the world. It was originally written and performed by Cohen for his album “Various Positions” in 1984. It achieved little initial success, but the song rose to immense heights after it was covered by John Cale and Jeff Buckley later on. Since Buckley’s rendition came out, many artists have tried to put their own spin on the timeless classic. The video below features one of them.

In the clip, we get a chance to hear Harry Connick Jr.’s beautiful cover of “Hallelujah”. With some talented musicians by his side, he manages to create a mind-blowing bluegrass and soul cover. Uploaded on Harry’s Facebook page, this cover has gained millions of views already!
