Unchained Melody is one of the most beautiful and beloved songs in the history of music. It has been enjoyed by millions of people in the world and it still continues to inspire many more. It was written in 1955 with music by Alex North, lyrics by Hy Zaret, and Todd Duncan on vocals. The song’s publishing administrator says that more than 1500 recordings of the classic have been made by over 670 artists in multiple languages. The video below features Susan Boyle’s amazing rendition.

Susan has a breathtaking voice. She had her first taste of fame when she came onstage for Britain’s Got Talent auditions in 2009. Also known as the “woman who shut Simon Cowell”, the Scottish star has went on to win the entire show. In this clip, she wows us with a very delightful cover of “Unchained Melody”. I am sure you will listen to it at least a couple of times!
